International Institute for Energy Conservation (IIEC), a leading international not-for profit non-governmental organization, with a mandate to promote energy efficiency and clean energy solutions, with headquarters in USA, is seeking a highly qualified individual to work on energy efficiency initiatives primarily throughout Asia, Pacific and Africa.

In Asia, IIEC has offices in Bangkok, Manila, and New Delhi with projects throughout the Asia Pacific Region. The position is based in IIEC Asia Regional office in Bangkok; and require frequent travel primarily in the Asia Pacific Region.

Candidates should have an advanced degree, preferably in engineering or economics, with a sound background in clean energy and environmental programs. Candidates should have at least 10 years’ experience in the energy sector, preferably including energy efficiency, demand-side management (DSM) and renewable energy. Experience in energy policy, climate change, sustainable urban development, off-grid/mini-grid electrification and regulatory issues are also desirable.

Candidates should have strong interpersonal, report writing and project management skills. Ability to communicate well in English is essential. Work experience with international agencies and in developing countries will be an asset.

An attractive salary package and benefits to commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered to the right candidates. Assistance with relocation and working visa in Thailand will be provided to expatriates.
