Angelica Dealino

Angelica Dealino is a licensed Chemical Engineer with postgraduate studies in business management, project finance and strategic planning. Her field of expertise is in the design/development of funding mechanisms for energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy (RE) projects, and capacity building on EE/ RE project financial evaluation for financial institutions, project developers and potential energy service companies. She has extensive work experience in project finance; conduct of due diligence on investment projects for financial assistance or equity financing; and financial management / comptrollership of microfinance operations.

She has implemented several projects supported by multilateral and bilateral funders such as ADB, IFC, World Bank, UNDP, Rockefeller Brothers Foundation; UK-Aid Department for International Development and US EPA. She has a total 15 years of experience in the field of EE/ RE Financing.

As the Vice President for North America at the International Institute for Energy Conservation (IIEC) and the Vice President for International Programs at the Alliance to Save Energy, Ms. Van Wie McGrory manages a range of international energy efficiency programs across all energy use sectors. Her areas of expertise include energy efficiency standards and labeling, public sector energy efficiency, energy efficient purchasing policies, outreach and communications, water & energy efficiency of water supply systems, low/zero-energy homes, energy efficient transportation systems, gender and climate change, and coalition building to promote energy efficiency.  Her previous work includes leadership roles at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the Nobel Peace Prize-winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, among others.


 
Mr. Felix Gooneratne
, joined IIEC as Asia Director in January 2001 and assumed his current role as President and CEO in October 2013. With more than 30 years of experience advancing energy efficiency, demand-side management (DSM) and related international clean energy efforts, Felix brings forward reaching vision to IIEC, and employs his proven technical expertise to implement programs and achieve results. Felix has designed and implemented projects throughout the United Kingdom, Australia, Asia, Africa and the Pacific region – managing international teams to achieve significant energy savings.

Prior to joining IIEC, Felix held senior positions at PA Consulting Group, UNDP, Bechtel International, and the Australian Department of Energy. He has extensive project management experience with agencies such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, United Nations Development Program, USAID, AusAid and the European Commission. Felix is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Energy; he holds his Chemical Engineering degree from University of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom.

Sanjay DubeMr. Dube as Vice President, South Asia. with over 28 years of experience working in clean energy & environment sectors, is leading IIEC‘s business in India and South Asian countries. He is working with international agencies like World Bank, UNEP, UNDP, GIZ, and British High Commission on various clean energy and climate change programs.

Prior to joining IIEC, he has worked as Chief of Party for Partnership to Advance Clean Energy – Deployment (PACE-D) Technical Assistance Project (www.pace-d.com) of USAID in India. Mr. Dube established the PACE-D Technical Assistance Program in India and developed the strategies for effective implementation of project. PACE-D is a 5-year program (2012-2017) with $ 19.5 million funding support from USAID.

Mr. Dube has worked as Vice President for Emergent Ventures India Pvt. Ltd. (2010-2012) and Senior Program Manager with ICF International (2006-2010). During this period, he was responsible to provide energy efficiency, renewable energy, clean energy finance, sustainability and climate change related services to donor agencies and national and international government and private sector clients. Mr. Dube has strong experience in planning, management and implementation of large national and regional programs.

In the past, Mr. Dube has worked with IIEC in the capacity of Senior Program Manager (2001-2006). During this time, he managed a number of large energy efficiency and environment management projects funded by national and international agencies. He has served as Deputy Chief of Party for USAID funded ‘Water & Energy Nexus–II (WENEXA-II)’ and ‘Energy Conservation & Commercialization–II (ECO-II)’ Projects in India and as Country Coordinator for Collaborative Labeling & Appliance Standard Program (CLASP).

He received his M. Tech. in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering from GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttaranchal, India and completed a Certificate course on ‘Energy Planning and Environment’ from University of Oslo, Norway.


 
Mr. Rob Pratt 
has been a national and international leader in clean energy for more than 40 years, as a for-profit and non-profit entrepreneur, a clean energy funder, and a governmental leader. He has founded or co-founded three companies and three non-profit organizations, directed a $250 million quasi-state renewable energy fund as well as the clean energy funding for a foundation, and has been a policy leader in energy efficiency and renewable energy for much of his career. Mr. Pratt is the founder and Chairman, and until recently the CEO, of GreenerU, a company dedicated to helping colleges and universities become climate leaders while reducing energy, water and infrastructure costs. He was the founder, Chairman and CEO of Energia Global International (EGI, now Enel Latin America), a company that became one of the leading renewable energy companies in Central America. From a startup in 1991, EGI became the largest private power company in Costa Rica through the development, financing and construction of high head hydroelectric and wind projects, with substantial power and distribution assets in Guatemala, El Salvador and Chile.

Prior to GreenerU, Rob was the Senior Vice President of the Henry P. Kendall Foundation, where he led foundation initiatives focused on energy efficiency policy and financing innovations. He also served as Director of the Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust, a major fund promoting the development of renewable energy projects as well as clean energy economic development in MA. Rob currently serves as the Chairman, founder (1984) and board member of the International Institute for Energy Conservation; Chairman Emeritus and Advisory Board member of the American Council on Renewable Energy;Executive Committee and board member of the Alliance to Save Energy; and Executive Committee and board member of the New England Clean Energy Council. He received an MPA degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, a JD degree from Georgetown University Law Center, and a BA degree from Wesleyan University.
