Preparatory Activities for Establishing a High Efficiency Certification Program in the Philippines - Market Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement
IIEC with funding from ICA-SEA is implementing preparatory activities for establishing a High Efficiency Certification Program for air conditioners (ACs). To develop a sustainable program, a good understanding of the existing market situation and level of stakeholder interest on high-efficiency products is necessary.
The task of establishing a high-efficiency certification program will involve 3 phases: (1) Market Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement; (2) Program Design; and (3) Pilot Implementation. IIEC has just recently concluded Phase 1: Market Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement of the program. Phase 2 is currently being developed.
