Lower Mekong Initiative (LMI) Air Conditioning Efficiency (2017)

The project aims to support Vietnam in its implementation of a national policy roadmap for air conditioners. Through the Lower Mekong Initiative and the ASEAN Standardization Harmonization Initiative for Efficiency (SHINE) program, this project will build on the existing ASEAN Regional Policy Roadmap and the Vietnam National Roadmap by assisting Vietnam in implementing higher minimum energy performance standards for air conditioning and encouraging enforcement of those standards.

Development of an Investment Plan for National Lighting Testing Laboratory for Vietnam (2008 - 2009)

The Development of an Investment Plan on National Lighting Testing Laboratory Project aims to develop a comprehensive investment plan on development of a national testing and certification facility capable of testing various quality parameters of lighting products and issuing certification in compliance with national and international standards. The completed plan will be submitted to relevant national and local government agencies for consideration and future implementation.

Preparation of the Proposal Document and Work Plan for the Energy Efficiency Improvement in Commercial and High-Rise Residential Buildings in Viet Nam (2014 - 2015)

The assignment aimed at supporting UNDP Vietnam and Ministry of Construction (MOC), Vietnam, in formulating “Energy Efficiency Improvement in Commercial and High-Rise Residential Buildings in Viet Nam” project. IIEC was required to lead and coordinate the project formulation team, draft, and finalize a full-sized GEF-UNDP Project Document (ProDoc); a GEF CEO Endorsement Request document and a detail project outline (DPO).

Commercial Energy Efficiency Pilot Project – Vietnam (2004)

This Commercial EE Pilot Project sought to test appropriate business models and mechanisms for catalyzing a small and sustainable service market that would support EE investments in Vietnam. This was achieved by supporting a small group of commercial service providers or "Project Agents" in all phases of EE project identification, development and implementation.
