Short Video Series Launch: Demand Side Management Project in the Philippines
The International Institute for Energy Conservation (IIEC) is proud to have served as the technical assistance for the Demand Side Management (DSM) for the Philippines project, in collaboration with the Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership (ETP).
Over an 18-month period, IIEC supported the Department of Energy (DOE) in preparing the DSM program framework, conducting capacity-building workshops, and developing a comprehensive DSM toolkit. Through nationwide surveys, stakeholder consultations, and training workshops, the project strengthened the capacity of more than 180 personnel from government agencies and distribution utilities. The initiative sets the stage for strategic conservation, load management, and energy efficiency—essential to building a sustainable and resilient energy future for the Philippines
